Community for Us by Us: August Meeting
Wisconsin Rapids area residents are invited to engage in continued efforts to enhance their community. WIPPS and Incourage, along with residents themselves, will host a third “Community for Us, By Us” meeting August 9th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at East Junior High School cafeteria, 311 Lincoln St. in Wisconsin Rapids. If you live in the area, please join us in July to help make Wisconsin Rapids an even better place to live, work and play!
You will have the opportunity to steer the direction of the group to focus on what you (residents) determine to be important priority issues to address. Current priority issues that have been identified at the first two meetings include:
- Downtown plans and use
- Public issues community forums/positive voice platform
- Community pool/access
- Development of an innovation center/career pathways
- and more
