Marathon County AOD Partnership Council Strategic Listening Project

WIPPS was contracted by the Marathon County Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Partnership Council to design and facilitate four meetings with 50 community stakeholder organizations. The strategic sessions outlined proposed strategic goals and objectives, offered opportunity for stakeholder feedback and prioritization, and provided a vehicle for attendees to reflect on how they might contribute to coalition work. Participants included health care providers, substance abuse counselors, elected officials, K-12 educators and recovering addicts, among others. The process yielded two critical areas for future action for the coalition: 1) areas of high impact / high investment strategies which coalition partners would support and 2) high impact / low investment strategies which the AOD Partnership staff would drive and lead. An executive report with key findings was presented to the AOD Partnership following the facilitated sessions.
