Empowering Future Leaders: The Washington Seminar

Tomorrow, December 3rd, WIPPS joins organizations worldwide in celebrating GivingTuesday—a global day of generosity that transforms communities.

At WIPPS, we’re dedicated to equipping young people with skills to lead. Programs like LENA Start Marathon County, the High School Leadership Program, and the Washington Seminar provide students with the knowledge and confidence to shape a brighter future.

Today, we’re shining a light on the Washington Seminar, a three-week study away summer program. Students travel from Madison to Washington, D.C., immersing themselves in the world of public policy. They meet policymakers, lobbyists, and industry leaders, gaining an insider’s view of how government works and how policies are made.

Breaking Down Barriers

We believe that no student should miss out on this life-changing experience due to financial constraints. That’s why we’re raising scholarship funds to ensure all students—regardless of their financial background—can participate.

With your support, we can:

  • Provide Scholarships: Open doors for students who might otherwise miss out.
  • Develop Leadership Skills: Equip students to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
  • Inspire Civic Engagement: Empower young people to understand and influence public policy.

Make a Difference This GivingTuesday

Your support can help make the Washington Seminar accessible to more students, empowering them to lead, inspire, and create change.

Donate Today and be part of shaping the next generation of leaders. Every contribution supports programs that empower young people to learn, grow, and make a lasting impact.

Thank you for your generosity and commitment. Let’s come together tomorrow to make a difference!
