Hmong and Hispanic Communication Network releases COVID-19 Family Testimonial Video
H2N video features central Wisconsin families’ pandemic experience, why they chose to vaccinate
The Hmong and Hispanic Communication Network (H2N) has a released a 4-minute video featuring a central Wisconsin families’ experience withstanding the pandemic, and why they chose to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.
In the video, the Arneson/McColley family explains how they endured the pandemic and protected one another, while sharing a home. The family consists of an older generation with health issues and 18-21-year-olds who attend school and work in healthcare.

This is the first in a series of videos that feature interviews with multi-generational families discussing their experiences with COVID-19 and their reasons for being vaccinated. H2N is a collaborative project of Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service, Asociación Hispana-Americana, Hmong American Center, Medical College of Wisconsin – Central Wisconsin, Wausau Free Clinic, and other community partners. The project was developed in 2020 to provide racial and ethnic minority groups with resources and tools to better withstand the COVID-19 pandemic.
