Bipartisan Panel to Discuss Election Administration in Wausau, Oct 3

WisPolitics and the Democracy Defense Project (DDP) will host a bipartisan panel in Wausau on Friday, Oct. 3, bringing together political leaders and election officials to discuss proposals to improve election administration in Wisconsin. The event is free and open to the public, and a livestream option makes it accessible to anyone across Wisconsin.

Panelists include Rep. Scott Krug (R-Nekoosa), Rep. Lee Snodgrass (D-Appleton), Marathon County Clerk Kim Trueblood, Portage County Clerk Maria Davis, and members of the DDP-Wisconsin team. The DDP-Wisconsin team includes former Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, former Attorney General JB Van Hollen, former Congressman Scott Klug, and former Democratic Party Chair Mike Tate.

The event runs from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service in Wausau. Coffee, pastries, and refreshments will be served. It is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required (use promo code EA2026Free). Register for the in-person event here.
