WSAW: The second of three Circles of Faith meetings met at North Central Technical College Sunday. The meeting topic was to discuss challenges individuals had faced in their faiths, striving to create understanding and acceptance across different religions.
“There are a lot of religions practiced in Wausau, a lot of different religions, but just because something is different doesn’t mean it should be divisive. In fact, religion can and should be a unifying factor in society,” said Program Manager Julie Bunczak.
Circles of Faith is a program put on by the Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service, also known as WIPPS.
All individuals of all religions are welcomed and encouraged to attend the final meeting for Circles of Faith on Sunday April 15th. More information can be found at WIPPS.org.
