Congrats to Dr. Corina Norrbom for being named a 2021 Woman of Vision

Register for virtual event: Women of Vision Luncheon, May 21, 12-1 p.m.

We would like to congratulate WIPPS Health Policy Fellow Dr. Corrie Norrbom for being named one of the 2021 YWCA of Wausau Women of Vision honorees. Corrie’s work in the community and at WIPPS is truly invaluable. She has been instrumental in the creation and development of several of our programs, including H2N (Hmong and Hispanic Outreach Network), LENA Start (Language Environment Analysis), and Toward One Wisconsin (a conference on diversity and inclusion).

Corrie takes the time to mentor young people, whether it is medical students at MCW or interns at WIPPS. She selflessly serves on boards and in elected office. She is kind, present, and makes time for all. Our organization, our partners, and our community are extremely fortunate to have her in our midst.

She is currently employed as an assistant professor for the Medical College of Wisconsin – Central Wisconsin, as a walk-in clinic physician for Aspirus Walk-In Clinic, and as a health policy fellow for WIPPS.

Women of Vision is an annual YWCA event that celebrates women who help others and have a vision to make the community a better place.

The 2021 Women of Vision honorees will be spotlighted at a virtual program on Friday, May 21 at noon.  Attendees will hear stories from our recipients about their work and volunteer involvement that has made significant contributions to our communities.
