March 5 – Wausau Mayoral Town Hall

The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Wisconsin Institute of Public Policy and Service (WIPPS), will host a Mayoral Town Hall on Tuesday, March 5 at 5:30 p.m. at the Center For Civic Engagement on the UWSP at Wausau campus.

Each candidate will take the stage individually. They will be asked a series of questions and will have the opportunity to share their platform. The purpose of this event is to educate the citizens of Wausau on the candidates and their backgrounds as they enter into a campaign for the seat of Mayor of Wausau.

This event is free and open to both members and non-members. No registration is required.

Incumbent Katie Rosenberg, left, and challenger Doug Diny, right, are the candidates on the ballot for Mayor of the City of Wausau in an election to be held on Tuesday, April 2.

The program will be facilitated by Dave Anderson, Senior Policy Fellow with WIPPS.
