People of Rural America
Older farmers are retiring. Younger farmers are leaving the family farm. To preserve the authentic voices and stories of Wisconsin farm life, the People of Rural Wisconsin Project was launched. We capture and preserve these personal histories. Their voices are unique and the experiences compelling. Our goal is to create a collective archive that celebrates rural Wisconsin while allowing future generations to experience this history through listening.
