Ernest Wayde, Ph.D., M.I.S

Dr. Ernest Wayde currently serves as the Innovative Technology Advancement Lab Officer in the Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization.  In this capacity, Dr. Wayde leads the team designing, developing, and delivering specialized reports and analytics training and expertise to VA’s facilities and staff.  Dr. Wayde is also the owner and principal consultant for Wayde Consulting.  In this capacity, Dr. Wayde provides consulting to companies around the development and management of necessary business elements, including corporate strategy and operational functions needed for success.  In addition, Dr. Wayde serves as a clinical assistant professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin-Central Wisconsin.

Dr. Wayde earned his doctorate degree in Clinical and Experimental Psychology from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. He also holds a master’s degree in Information Systems from Wright State University and various certificates in change management and artificial intelligence.  Dr. Wayde has over 17 years of experience working in the healthcare and technology industries, in both public and private sectors.
