Intern Update: Maddie Hahn

Below you’ll find an email from former WIPPS Research Assistant Maddie Hahn, shared with her permission. Maddie worked with WIPPS during Summer 2025. Thank you for all of your hard work, Maddie! We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

As my internship has come to an end, I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you all for welcoming me to WIPPS this summer. I had an amazing experience and learned so much from each and every one of you. It was truly an honor to get to know the mission of WIPPS and be a part of the organization’s incredible involvement in the community!

This internship has been a meaningful and eye-opening learning experience. From engaging in community outreach to contributing to various research projects, I gained a deeper understanding of the field of public health, its impact, and the importance of sharing health information with diverse communities across North Central Wisconsin.

Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to be part of your work. I’m excited to carry these lessons with me as I continue on my path toward becoming a physician in Wisconsin. I will for sure keep in touch with you all along the way!
