Meet the WIPPS team: Maysee Lao
Tell us a bit about yourself
My name is Maysee Lao. I am interested in medicine and community health. I graduated from The University Of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a degree in Biology.
What do you do at WIPPS?
I work closely with the Health Navigator team to provide health insurance resources and education at events. I also support the H2N program in a variety of ways such as assisting at vaccination clinics, recordkeeping, updating immunizations on the Wisconsin Immunization Registry, and designing flyers.
What’s your favorite thing about working at WIPPS?
My favorite thing about working at WIPPS is the meaningful work that we do for the community. The WIPPS team works hard and diligently to make programs and projects possible.
What program/project are you excited about working on in the new year?
I’m excited to continue working with H2N because their events allow me to stay engaged with the community, and I’m able to help those who are underserved.
Do you have any fun hobbies? Anything you’d like to share about yourself? Do you have any pets?
I enjoy playing volleyball. I love food and traveling!
