Details:

Celebrate Día De Los Muertos during Blossom of Lights with the Hmong and Hispanic Communication Network (H2N).

No timed tickets required, activities for all ages included! Head right to the Day of the Dead celebration or walk through the lights first! Tickets are $5 per person, sold in person at the gate (cash, check or card accepted), or $1 per person if attending in traditional costume.

Traditional Day of the Dead costumes include face painting to resemble skulls, fancy floral dresses, fancy suits, and floral accessories. Tickets purchased ahead of time online are not eligible for refunds for wearing a costume.

The event will feature Live Mariachi, a collaborative mural of an Alebrijes, sugar skull painting, papel picado, costume judging, and more. Bring a photo of a passed loved one to add to the ofrenda.
Sample traditionally served conchas, and food will be available for purchase from local Mexican restaurants!

THE GARDENS IS SEEKING VOLUNTEERS: As a volunteer, you will receive an invitation for you plus one guest to our Blossom of Lights Volunteer Appreciation event on November 2. Take in the lights one last time as you enjoy complimentary refreshments. (RSVP closes October 26) All volunteers must have a release form on file prior to participating. Volunteers must be 16 or older to volunteer without a parent or guardian present. A parent or guardian must sign off on their behalf. Click this link to sing up.

Stop by the H2N booth to learn about access to medical and community resources and talk with one of our expert health navigators.
