Public disdain for the U.S. Congress is at an all-time high. With most Americans feeling that the best interests of the country are not being represented in Washington, does Congress even matter anymore? Hear what four national experts have to say at a panel discussion April 4 in Milwaukee and April 5 in Madison.
Political scholars Norman Ornstein and Thomas Mann, and former Congressmen Dave Obey and Mickey Edwards will discuss “Is Congress Still Relevant?” They will look at:
- Is Congress working?
- How does special interest money impact Congress?
- Is the Executive Branch too powerful?
- What can the average citizen do about it?
Both events are free and open to the public.
