Meet the staff: Konnor Denzine
Konnor Denzine is a fall intern here at WIPPS. His workload being as diversified as his interests, Konnor is working several projects in WIPPS including People of Rural Wisconsin, Oxfam Hunger Banquet, America’s Economic Prosperity Forum Series, archiving events, and content writing. From this internship, he hopes to gain a deeper understanding of his community, become more engaged of local politics, and gain a valuable experience as a employee that he can use later in life.
Born and raised in rural Marathon County ( North Holton), Konnor enjoys traveling, learning, cooking, listening to music, being a foodie, and playing guitar. He graduated from Colby High School, being very active in his school as a football player, club officer (of many organizations), and as the school guitarist (he played every guitar part that the Colby Music Department offered). Konnor now goes to UW-Marathon County (UWMC) and has become immersed in its community: being very engaged in the UWMC Music Department, clubs, and WIPPS. Konnor plans on majoring in political science and minoring in music, hoping to become either a lawyer or a rock star one day.
