Alejandro runs the Spanish-language newspaper, Noticias, and also hosts a Wellness and Health podcast with other H2N team members.

Why did you get involved with H2N?
Because I want to disseminate information to the Latino community.

What changes have you seen in the type of work H2N does since joining?
Very important changes, given that “Noticias” is a communication channel on health matters for the Latino community in this area and due to the lack of information/orientation in Spanish to the Hispanic Community coming from the health system.

What is the most rewarding part of working with H2N? What is the most challenging part?
The most rewarding is to see the dedication from H2N Hispanic Liaisons to help our community. The most challenging part is trying to find ways to convince Latino community about the importance of health issues. Another challenging aspect is the scheduling.

What role do you see for organizations like H2N in the future of public health in this country?
H2N is an organization that guides, informs and promotes everything related to healthcare in all aspects
