A recording of the December 4, 2025, Better Conversations In Polarized times: Lessons from Bipartisan Organizations is now available for viewing.

The event featured two bipartisan organizations: the Democracy Defense Project Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Alliance for Civic Trust, also known as WisAct. With the holidays approaching, family gatherings can often highlight political differences. The speakers shared insights on how to have productive, healthy conversations about politics.

The virtual program featured Mike Tate, former chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, and Scott Klug, former Republican U.S. representative for Wisconsin’s 2nd Congressional District, both representing the Democracy Defense Project Wisconsin, as well as Michael Ford, regional coordinator for WisAct.

The Democracy Defense Project is a bipartisan organization of former elected officials and leaders dedicated to defending the transparency, security, and integrity of U.S. elections.

The Wisconsin Alliance for Civic Trust is a cross-partisan network of Wisconsin residents that promotes values fundamental to our democratic republic, including support for fair, safe, and secure elections, and support for peaceful civic engagement.
